Friday Night Dancing 8:30pm - 2am in 2 Rooms, with complimentary Water, and Cakes, Fun Class around 9:30pm + Teacher Introduction.
2nd Room: Chilled Lyrical fun room, playing Smooth Chilled music from genres such as, Tango, Blues Chilled Smooth Jive, West Coast.

Saturday Night: Dancing Modern Jive 8.30pm till 2am, with Full Cabaret via our Headline Teachers & some of our fabulous dancers with a fun routine, learnt during our Saturday Workshops + our optional fancy dress theme - (Optional but Fun A day at the races).
2nd Room: Chilled Lyrical fun room, playing Smooth Chilled music from genres such as, Tango, Blues Chilled Smooth Jive, West Coast.

Saturday & Sunday Workshops 10.30am - 5.30pm 2 rooms approximately 10+ Workshops each day

Sunday Fun & Chill Dance: 8 - 11pm (Includes Complimentary Water & Cake) Then it’s off home, or join us for a pure calm down and chill out in the residents bar, no dancing after 11pm, just lots of lovely company and chit chat in the bar

We always aim to provide amazing Modern Jive Weekenders, whilst also dipping your toe into dances such as West Coast Swing, Argentine Tango, Blues, Latin Ballroom, American Swing & Lindy Hop plus our now famous fun group dance and this weekender is no exception, see below. Our 2 Main Dances are Modern Jive & Argentine Tango.

Your Headliners:
Guillermo & Alexandra, They first started dancing together in the West End Hit, Midnight Tango and are presently working with Vincent Simone on his latest Theatre Show! They have danced on BBC’s Strictly, ITV's This Morning and BBC2 Classic Brit awards. They travel world wide teaching and performing and they are currently touring between classes with the Uk show 'Tango Motion' with Tango Siempre.

Keith & Janey will be one of your Main Modern Jive Teacher’s - they have performed on the same stage as the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Katie Melua & worked alongside Alisha Dixon on the BBC, Keith with Vicky also won the Ceroc Scottish & World Showcase 2018/19.

Shaun Davies (New to our Weekenders Jan 2025 & you love him) Teaching Modern Jive, Shaun teaches in a relaxed & smooth way & will be teaching his style of Modern Jive. A member of the LeRoc Federation, partner at Wings Club Chester.

Workshops will grow progressively throughout the weekend, starting with foundation & more basic moves, or tricks you can do with a more basic move, getting more in-depth & trickier as the weekend progresses.
So no matter what level you are at, you should find quite a lot to suit:

We are heavily Modern Jive, with a further split of Argentine Tango, Latin Ballroom, Blues (TBC) + a great favourite of our dancers, the Fun Group Dance (Some dances TBC).

Please Note: We do our best to Gender Balance, this will mean there will be times when we cannot accept any more Followers (this usually means ladies/followers) 😢 We can still add you to our waiting list, just email & let us know what you’d like to join, ie full weekender York etc, we can then let you know if something comes available.
Another option is to find a Lead/Gent, and get them to book on as your gender balance. Book Single Rooms or Twins, the choice is yours.

The hotel has increased our 2026 prices as expected, but we are subsidising this increase as a company, to help by nearly ½ of this increase. So there is a slight increase to you of circa £5 per night after the subsidy.
